Fillings

At V Family Dental we provide the best possible treatment for small and medium-sized cavities. They can be treated effectively with a simple restoration or filling.

Root Canals

When a cavity reaches the central portion of the tooth the nerve is affected. The procedure to relieve pain and effectively treat the tooth is called Root canal.

Crowns

When the damage to the tooth is large, composite fillings cannot withstand the forces of chewing. This is when we recommend a cover for the tooth called crowns.

Bridges

When there is a missing tooth in the mouth - adjacent teeth might be trimmed down and a fake tooth attached to the crowns of a bridge on the river. This can be an excellent treatment option in compromised bone density cases.

Dental implants

This is a more modern solution that replaces the entire tooth – from the root up through the crown – for a more natural look and feel. In this procedure, small titanium posts are placed below the gums to replace the root structure of one or more lost teeth.

About the doctor

Dr. Vrishali Gujar

Dr Vrishali Gujar is a dual-trained general dentist. She did her bachelor's degree, BDS in India, from Nair Hospital Dental College Mumbai. After graduation, she went on to study dentistry at the esteemed University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine - Philadelphia USA earning a DMD degree. Upon completion, Dr Vrishali wanted to further her knowledge and expertise and hence joined Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and completed a one-year general dentistry residency programme.

She then worked at a family practice called Mt Holly Family Dentistry in NJ for 8+ years where she had a great patient base and fan following.

Dr. Vrishali is very gentle and takes utmost care in making her patients feel comfortable while providing the best possible dental care. She loves spending her free time with her children and family and reading and running.

Dr. Vrishali is extremely professional and skilful. I had a front tooth chip after a fall and she was able to fix it looking absolutely perfect. Clinic is great and centrally located too. Highly recommend.
