ROOT CANALS

When the cavity reaches the central portion of the tooth - the nerve chamber is affected and upset. In this case then the nerve and hence the tooth needs treatment. This treatment  is called Root canal. With the advancement in dentistry and the dental tools now available Dr V is very skilled at making this procedure virtually painless. The nerve chamber is filled from inside out. This can be a single or multiple visit procedure. Once completed the tooth can be retained. To maintain its durability and functionality root canal treated teeth are fitted with onlays(partial crowns) or crowns.
